IPTV King was one of Sweden’s largest illegal IPTV services. In 2020, raids took place in several countries, including Sweden, as part of a larger European collaboration.
Two men have already been charged for their involvement and now the main suspect has also been arrested. The man has been internationally wanted since 2020 and has stayed away in Turkey, was arrested after arriving in Sweden.
Charges against the man are expected shortly, and since the police have seized considerable assets, the trial should occur without delay. The authorities have secured assets worth several million SEK belonging to the man, including cars, watches, half a house and close to two million SEK in bank assets.
The IPTV King service made a lot of money on its illegal activity and has links to international organized crime.
