The Nordic Council is the parliamentary body for official Nordic cooperation. At the end of October, members of parliament gathered at the 2025 Session of the Nordic Council in the Swedish Parliament.
In the Council’s Committee for Knowledge and Culture, one of the program items was intellectual property.
Together with Unlimited Stories AB and the Professional Swedish Fotball Leagues (SEF), the Rights Alliance was invited to speak about the challenges and damage that illegal services cause rights holders.
Since this concerns cross-border crime, it is essential that Nordic lawmakers cooperate to combat organized crime.
Interest was high, and the issue was raised again the following day when the Nordic Ministers of Culture met.
